As part of the above-the-ceiling™ creative learning series, the students of The Infinite Legacy Project scholarship program mount choreography based on research of world topics. In Spring 2017 our project is REFUGE (with choreography based on shapes & phrases gleaned from images of refugees from around the world). This pressing problem informed the research for the project. Renowned photo journalist, Sebastian Rich, generously provided answers to students' questions about his work - riveting photos from refugee camps & war zones around the globe from 4 decades of journalism. Mr. Rich has provided images & stories of refugees for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), BBC, NBC, & other major news outlets.
